"Whenever I close my eyes, fragments of various shapes come to me. These three-dimensional visions fill my head, forcing me to jump off my bed at night, scramble for pen and paper, and sketch these formless shapes to life"

MISSION

A local leading architecture company identified and rewarded internationally for its creative and innovative designs.

VISION

To conceptualize and develop sustainable, practical, economical and adaptable architecture designs.

To deliver design that aligns, translate and reflect a client’s need, personality and lifestyle.

To introduce and open the mind of people to modern changes in the field of architectural design.

To cultivate the future of architecture as a form of art.

ARCHITECT

Deo Alrashid Trevecedo Alam

I grew up in Zamboanga City in the southern part of the Philippines,

whose 860,000 residents comprise only 0.9% of the country’s total population. I moved to Manila for my tertiary education, graduated in 2006, and was certified as an architect in 2010. I’ve since practiced architectural design under the big names in the local architecture industry and led my own partnership firm. Now, I’ve reached what I consider the final stepping stone of

my career—starting my own company,

 Deo Alrashid Alam Design Architecture

My designs represent who I am as an architect. Stakeholders I’ve worked with describe my works as “bold creations that challenge the norm, and seek to define new standards of practice in architecture design build.” No matter the size of the project, I pour in the same amount of passion.

PERKS OF THE JOB

I got to spend several nights aboard a client’s yacht while doing a project in Bacuit Bay in El Nido, Palawan. The experience was inspiring, and build one of my dreams — to sail over the Pacific Ocean in a Jeanneau 64.

When technology fails you, keep calm and improvise. Even the most mundane objects, such as a pack of biscuits, can be sources of inspiration and a wellspring of creativity. As Henri Matisse said, creativity takes courage.

The only thing we can control is ourselves. Those who don’t take the leap will never know what it feels like to fly. This is my life-changing event—jumping from a plane and seeing the Earth from 14,000 feet high.

My Bestfriend.

I love music and photography, but what I find gratifying is the experience of producing quality output. It’s amazing what one can do when they pursue their heart’s interests.
